Tequila sunsrise

1 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon
Ice cubes
2 ounces(1/4 cup) tequila, preferably silver
8 ounces (1 cup) freshly squeezed orange juice
2 dashes granadine syrup
Maraschino cherries, optional

To create lemon sugar, the sugar and lemon zests should be tossed together in a small bowl then put in a saucer. The rim of a lowball glass should have the rimmed moistened abd then firmly press lemon sugar and keep doing it until rim is coated thoroughly.

The ice, tequila, and orange juice should be mixed together in a coctail shaker, then cover and shake well. This mixture should be floured into a glass while you are very slowly add grenadine while letting it to sink to bottom of  glass. If wished the glasses should be garnished with.cherries.

blushing Mary

1 1/2 ouncesof vodka or tequila
4-5 cherry tomatoes , halve
1 mild or hot pepper sliced
2 dashes Worcestshire sauce
2-3 leaves of basil, parsley, cilantro or dill
4 ounces tonic water
Celery bitters
Cracked black pepper (optional)
Slices of pepper, cherry tomato, celery stick , herb leaf, or olive for garnish

Combine the first five ingredients  in a cocktail shaker, then use a muddker to crushthe vegetables and herbs.

Shake well over ice steain then pour into g lass with ice. , Add the tonic water and stir

Finally add a dash of celery bitters , crack . A bit of  black pepper on top.

If desired add your choice of garnish
